Mr. Barber practices in the Insolvency, Bankruptcy & Creditor Rights Section. He has extensive experience representing secured and unsecured creditors, lessors and lessees, landlords, borrowers, committees, and court-appointed trustees and examiners in bankruptcy reorganizations, liquidations, and litigation, and pre- and post-bankruptcy workouts, repossessions, and UCC and real property foreclosures.  Before entering the practice of law, he worked several years as a workout banker at one of the largest banks in Texas, where he received formal credit training, and managed commercial loan workouts, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and litigation, with particular emphasis on oil and gas related matters.
