Mr. Speer, an associate of the Firm, practices in the Litigation Section. He has a diverse background which consists of studying and working in Europe, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Mexico & Guatemala. He began his professional career in sales at IBM with a particular focus on the Print/Publishing Industry. 

Litigation involving premises liability, construction defect, transportation accidents as well as products liability and general negligence claims.

Named by Law & Politics as an outstanding young lawyer in 2008 & 2010 Texas Rising Stars magazine, a designation given to lawyers under 40 who are viewed by their colleagues as preeminent in their respective practice areas; also published in Texas Monthly and online at superlawyers.com.

Mr. Speer successfully defended a Kawasaki franchisee in a bench trial which resulted in a finding of no negligence. In a jury trial, Mr. Speer successfully defended a car wreck case in Waco, Texas in which he prevailed on an "unavoidable accident" defense.
