Clark Samuelson focuses his practice on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on commercial and residential construction defect matters. Serving corporate and insurance company clients, Clark also handles personal injury cases and corporate litigation, including breach of contract and collections issues.
While attending law school, Clark clerked with a Houston-based law firm that provided counsel to the oil and gas, construction, and hospitality industries. Before joining KRCL, Clark worked in Tax Controversy for a major consulting firm where he traveled the country defending companies in various state and IRS audits. In this role, he gained familiarity with manufacturing, engineering, HVAC, and electrical industries, among others. He contributes these valuable experiences and insights to his current practice.
Clark emphasizes providing top-notch but budget-conscious, efficient work. He enjoys serving clients in a firm where attorneys collaborate and willingly lend their expertise to each other so they can deliver optimal outcomes as a team.
Clark’s outgoing personality serves him well in litigation. He loves to be out in front of people, whether it’s in a courtroom, deposition, hearing, mediation, or inspection. Clark finds it highly gratifying to craft well-reasoned arguments and present them in front of a judge or jury.
Away from the Office
A long-time golfer, Clark tries to get out on the golf course as much as possible. However, he and his wife have a young daughter and another on the way, so leisure time is in short supply these days. Clark is also passionate about cooking and particularly likes to fire up the grill.
