Courtney Tawresey is a seasoned attorney who helps clients navigate the complexities of international, federal and state tax regulation and compliance. Courtney holds an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Denver and has practiced both in law firms and accounting industries. Her diverse experience provides her with a complete understanding of all facets of tax issues clients could potentially face. This enables her to proactively serve her clients, helping them avoid costly missteps whenever possible. Whether she is counseling on a business tax issue or resolving regulatory and audit issues, Courtney always seeks creative solutions that best serve her clients’ long-term goals.
Her experience is wide-ranging, including tax credit transactions, international tax, partnership tax, corporate tax, individual tax, and state and local tax. Courtney also represents clients in various business matters, such as entity formation, dissolution, and mergers and acquisitions. Regardless of the matter at hand, clients always appreciate her keen eye for detail, attentive client service, and mindfulness of the bottom-line.
Courtney is currently licensed in Colorado and Washington. Her license in Texas is pending.
