Harrison Papaila practices with the Business and Corporate Transactional Practice Group in the Firm’s Dallas office. He represents clients in a variety of matters, including commercial financing transactions, real estate transactions, and other business matters.
Prior to joining Kane Russell Coleman Logan, Harrison spent a year working as a Term Law Clerk for The Honorable Amos L. Mazzant III in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. In this role, he assisted the Judge in drafting opinions for various dispositive motions in various areas of law including securities, business torts, employment, intellectual property, antitrust, insurance and personal injury.
Harrison earned a Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2016. While studying law, he clerked with Kane Russell Coleman Logan. He also participated in a judicial internship with The Honorable Amos L. Mazzant III in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, where he assisted drafting an opinion for a Social Security benefits appeal, evaluated a motion to strike a Daubert challenge to a physician’s expert testimony, and assessed a Rule 12(b)(6) and 9(b) motion to dismiss a software licensing contract claim. Harrison also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Baylor University.
