Margaret Jordan is a dedicated and thoughtful attorney who serves as attorney and counselor to her clients. Her knowledge and breadth of experience in real estate, business and lending matters make her an integral part of her clients’ business transactions. Margaret is extensively involved in acquisitions and leases for Fortune 500 Companies across the nation as well as for local developments in the Dallas metropolitan area. In addition, Margaret assists her clients with dispositions, real estate and commercial lending, workouts, construction and real estate development relating to all types of real estate assets, including retail, office, multi-family, hotels, single family development homebuilders, condominiums, and industrial. An AV Peer Review Rated lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell, Margaret represents real estate developers, owners and purchasers of properties, financial institutions, landlords and tenants.

Some of Margaret’s clients include Starbucks Corporation, Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI), At Home Stores and Quine & Associates.

Additionally, Margaret serves as chair of the Firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee.

Margaret is a member of the International Conference of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and serves as a member of the ICSC Law Conference Planning Committee.

  • Recent transactions include acquisitions, build to suit and ground leasing for S&P 600 company with yearly revenues of over $2 billion
  • Acquisitions and leasing for S&P 500 company with yearly revenues of over $3 billion
  • Extensive retail, shopping center “big box” leasing for S&P 500, multi-national company with yearly revenues of over $11 billion
  • Manufacturing facility leases for a single asset entity of a multi-national company with yearly revenues of over $17 billion
  • Acquisition contracts, including unimproved real property acquisitions and improved property acquisitions for REITs and real estate related like kind exchange (§1031) transactions
  • Lending and problem loan workouts
