Hale Neilson primarily focuses his practice on insolvency and creditors’ rights.
Before joining the firm, Hale gained extensive experience within the bankruptcy judiciary. Hale has served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Christopher M. Lopez on the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas and as an intern for The Honorable Katharine M. Samson on the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.
As a former Associate Articles Editor for the Mississippi Law Journal, Hale brings expertise in researching legal issues and providing thorough case analysis. His extensive experience within the judiciary helps him craft well-tailored and persuasive arguments.
Hale earned his J.D. from The University of Mississippi School of Law with a concentration in business law. Prior to law school, Hale obtained a B.B.A. in Management with a minor in psychology from Texas State University.

Hale enjoys bowhunting and playing guitar. He is also a fan of Ole Miss football and baseball.
