Since joining the firm, Kelly has been primarily focused on litigation with a variety of cases, including energy, construction, complex tort, and insurance coverage. These matters have presented a wide array of complexities, involving parties, procedure, substantive law, evidentiary matters, and the conflict of laws. Most notably Kelly has been deeply involved in complex litigation regarding the development of a midstream oil and gas storage facility, and litigation involving the construction of public infrastructure.
Kelly holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center. During his time at the University of Houston Law Center, he served as the Senior Articles Editor for the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal and as the Baron of the Exchequer for the Order of the Barons.
