Brian Sawyer leverages his extensive background in both law and business to deliver strategic, results-driven representation for his clients. He approaches each matter with a focus on fully understanding the factual and legal issues at hand, as well as the client’s overarching objectives, allowing him to craft effective litigation strategies.
His practice encompasses a wide range of complex litigation matters, including breach of contract, business torts, products liability, professional liability, employment discrimination, and catastrophic injury claims.
Brian represents clients in state and federal courts throughout Texas and across the United States. He advises a diverse client base that includes commercial equipment manufacturers, retailers, hospitality businesses, engineers and physicians.
As a seasoned litigator, Brian has extensive experience deposing parties, corporate representatives, technical experts, and key witnesses. Brian draws on this experience to prepare his clients both factually and mentally for deposition and trial testimony. Even in challenging cases, his methodical and pragmatic approach has frequently led to favorable outcomes.
He is known for his ability to distill complex technical, factual, and legal issues into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with judges and juries alike. He applies this disciplined approach throughout every stage of litigation - from client communications and motion practice to depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
Brian has been admitted pro hac vice to represent clients in matters pending before state and federal courts across the country, including in Alabama, California, Louisiana, Nebraska, Ohio, New York, Vermont, and Virginia.
He is also a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star.
Away from the Office
Brian enjoys spending time with his two children. When not lawyering or parenting, Brian can be found exploring Dallas’s expansive biking trail system, enjoying sporting clays with friends, or attending college football games.
