Dillon Kraus is an associate in Kane Russell Coleman Logan’s Litigation Practice Group. He joined the firm following a summer clerkship in 2024, where he supported attorneys across a diverse range of complex civil litigation matters.
During his clerkship at KRCL, Dillon assisted in representing clients in cases involving intellectual property, contractual, and personal injury disputes, as well as several real estate matters. His work included conducting in-depth legal research and drafting detailed memoranda analyzing issues such as the enforceability of liquidated damages provisions, corporate veil-piercing, and other litigation matters. Dillon also gained hands-on experience reviewing contracts and discovery responses, as well as drafting key litigation documents—including dispositive motions, discovery motions, and petitions.
Previously, Dillon served as a Law Clerk in the Harris County Attorney’s Office, where he researched and prepared memoranda on complex and emerging issues impacting the division, including the assessment of court costs, governmental immunity, and conflicts between procedural rules and statutory authority.
