Nicholas Perez focuses his litigation practice on commercial transportation claims, bringing a multifaceted background in government representation, regulatory matters, and complex dispute resolution.
Before joining the firm, Nick advised and defended local government entities in ad valorem disputes involving residential and commercial property valuations, as well as exemption-related matters. He also served for three years as general counsel to the Galveston Central Appraisal District, where he handled a broad range of property tax and assessment issues and developed substantial experience managing complex valuation disputes.
Nick’s combined experience in private practice and as in-house counsel for a public entity provides him with a practical, solutions-oriented perspective when navigating high-stakes disputes and regulatory-related challenges.
Away from the Office
Nick is an avid Formula One fan who supports both Scuderia Ferrari and Mercedes-AMG Petronas. Although he retired from the theater after his seventh-grade play, he has recently returned to the stage in local, lawyer-centric productions. When he is not acting or cheering on his favorite F1 teams, Nick enjoys spending time with his best friend, who also happens to be his wife.
