Kane Russell Coleman Logan Announces New Attorney Hires

Kane Russell Coleman Logan is pleased to announce the addition of three attorneys to the firm’s Dallas and Houston offices. Grace Guan and Courtney Tawresey join the firm’s Dallas office, and Raul Saenz joins the Houston office. The addition of Grace, Courtney and Raul is part of the firm’s ongoing regional growth and commitment to the development of new legal talent.

Grace Guan joins the Bankruptcy team in the Dallas office. The associate attorney advises debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, creditors' committees, and bankruptcy trustees in all aspects of bankruptcy. Grace previously served as a clerk in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana, where she reviewed motions and proposed orders, drafted opinions and judgments, prepared case files in advance of hearings and advised counsel regarding case management and procedural requirements.

Seasoned tax attorney Courtney Tawresey also joins the Dallas office. Courtney will help clients navigate the complexities of international, federal and state tax regulation and compliance as a senior attorney at the firm. She holds an LL.M. in Taxation and has diverse experience handling tax credit transactions, international tax, partnership tax, corporate tax, individual tax, and state and local tax. Courtney also represents clients in various business matters, such as entity formation, dissolution, and mergers and acquisitions.

Raul Saenz joins the litigation team in the firm’s Houston office as an associate attorney. Raul handles a wide variety of claims both as defense counsel and a plaintiff’s attorney, including personal injury, premises liability, first and third-party insurance defense, probate and estate administrations, and commercial law. He regularly represents clients in personal injury and property damage litigation arising from wrongful death/survival actions, products liability, premises liability and construction defects.
