Lawrence Bowman Named to Executive Committee of American Board of Trial Advocates

Lawrence Bowman, a director at Kane Russell Coleman Logan, has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the Dallas Chapter of American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”) for 2018.  The Board runs the local chapter of the prestigious national association comprised of the country’s leading judges and trial lawyers.

ABOTA was founded in 1957 to “foster improvement in the ethical and technical standards of practice in the field of advocacy to the end that individual litigants may receive more effective representation.”  Membership is only granted through invitation and is limited to those with extensive civil jury trial experience and an honorable ethical reputation among peers and the judiciary.

Larry Bowman represents clients in complex commercial litigation.   He has had a long and distinguished career spanning four decades, adeptly guiding clients in a variety of complex legal disputes, including contractual, tort, construction, product liability, intellectual property, antitrust and securities matters.  His trial advocacy has earned him recognition by Super Lawyers (2004 - 2007, 2013 - 2017), Best Lawyers (2013-2018) and Chambers USA (2010-2014), as well as membership with the Litigation Counsel of America.

“Larry is a fantastic attorney who is a great asset to the firm.  There’s no doubt that he will be equally valuable to the Executive Board as it works to continue ABOTA’s mission of bolstering integrity, honor and civility in the legal profession,” said Joe Coleman, managing director of the firm’s Dallas office.
