Devin Reyes joined KRCL’s Commercial and Tort Litigation Team after serving as a summer clerk in 2022 and 2023.

During his clerkship, Devin actively contributed to a variety of projects, including complex commercial litigation involving premises liability and motion for summary judgment, as well as conducting research for other litigation matters. Additionally, he assisted with multiple intellectual property cases, participating in patent prosecution, discovery, and research tasks.

While in law school, Devin served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Kenneth M. Hoyt in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and as a summer fellow in the Jerome N. Frank Legal Services Organization at Yale Law School. Devin also served as a clerk with an immigration clinic and with DHR Health, where he worked with the Hospital Ethics Committee and drafted and reviewed commercial leases for medical equipment, buildings, and other hospital-related property.

Away From the Office

Devin enjoys photography, a hobby he has practiced for over ten years, with his favorite subjects being the landscapes and cityscapes he visits while traveling. More recently, Devin has become PADI certified, which has expanded his opportunity to photograph new subjects and explore different environments during his travels. On the weekends, Devin enjoys exploring the many parks Houston has to offer. Devin is an active member of the Houston Young Lawyers Association.
