Jacob Adas is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, where he supports clients across a wide range of civil litigation matters. He brings strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and hands-on litigation support to every matter, with experience in legal research, drafting, and strategic case preparation.
Before joining KRCL, Jacob served as a law clerk at a Chicago firm, where he researched and drafted memoranda on issues including preemption, negligence, and other complex legal questions. In this role, he regularly interviewed clients to gather critical facts, ensured the accuracy and completeness of case documentation, briefed attorneys on key developments, and offered strategic recommendations.
Jacob also gained valuable trial-level experience by assisting with voir dire and contributing to strategic planning in a jury trial, further strengthening his understanding of courtroom procedure and litigation strategy.
Jacob earned his J.D., cum laude, from Tulane University School of Law, where he served as Senior Notes and Comments Editor of the Sports Lawyers Journal, Co-Chair of the Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition and was winner of the 2024 Tulane International Fútbol Negotiation Competition and his B.A. from Colorado College.
Away from the Office
Jacob enjoys staying active through golf, tennis, and weightlifting. He is a former collegiate tennis player and served as captain of the men’s tennis team.
