DAYL Names Eliot Walker "One to Watch"

After living and working in Dallas for only one year, KRCL associate Eliot Walker has already been named this month as "One to Watch" by the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.

Within the DAYL, Eliot is a member of the 2012 Leadership Class and also co-chairs the organization's Animal Welfare Committee.  Eliot is an active steering committee member of the Leadership Class, which is organizing a charity concert supporting the public education component of Mayor Rawlings' "Grow South" initiative.  The class recently secured the Kessler Theater in Oak Cliff for the concert, which will be held October 17.

An animal lover, Eliot and his wife own a German shepherd mix and a pug – who Eliot says is the head of the household.  Recently, Eliot organized the DAYL team for the SPCA of Texas's Strut Your Mutt 5k, which managed to be one of the top public fundraisers at the event.
