Lawrence Bowman was Selected as a Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates

Lawrence T. Bowman, a director at Kane Russell Coleman & Logan PC, has accepted an invitation to become a distinguished member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). This exclusive membership is limited to attorneys who display skill, civility and integrity, to help younger attorneys achieve a higher level of trial advocacy and to educate the public about the vital importance of the Seventh Amendment.

In order to receive an invitation, attorneys must elevate the standards of integrity, honor, ethics, civility and courtesy in the legal profession. Applicants also have to be able to list 10 civil jury trials to jury verdict or hung jury as lead counsel, and be nominated and elected by current members. ABOTA members are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial, “Justice by the People”.

“It is such an honor to be chosen to join this exceptional group of attorneys and judges,” says Lawrence Bowman, “I am thrilled to work with such prestigious members who continually work to uphold the jury system by educating the American public about the history and value of the right to trial by jury.”

Lawrence Bowman practices in the Litigation, Large Loss Subrogation, Insurance and Construction practice areas at Kane Russell Coleman & Logan PC. For over 35 years, he has represented clients in complex commercial litigation matters and large loss subrogation claims. Mr. Bowman has represented a broad spectrum of corporate and insurance company clientele at trial and in settlement of significant cases in multiple states.

Bowman is the second attorney at Kane Russell Coleman & Logan PC to be selected for inclusion into this elite organization. Chris Pappa from the firm’s Houston office was previously selected after being recognized for his career as a trial attorney.

“We are very proud of Larry and Chris for being recognized by ABOTA for their devotion to the civil jury trial process,” noted Mike Logan, one of KRCL’s founding Directors and head of the Litigation Department. “Both Larry and Chris are extremely talented trial attorneys who continue to cultivate a spirit of loyalty, fellowship, and professionalism as members of ABOTA, and who regularly try and win cases for clients at trial. KRCL has a very strong litigation practice with more than 50 trial attorneys in both Dallas and Houston, who regularly try cases of all types."
