“We are honored that the legal community chose to recognize us this year in the 2016 Texas Super Lawyers rankings,” says Zach Mayer, a managing partner at the firm. “It’s a privilege to be nominated from such a diverse list of exceptional attorneys.”

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters publication, rates outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement in one of seventy practice areas. The rankings, which are released on an annual, state-by-state basis, are determined by a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. According to Super Lawyers, the final published list “represents no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state.”
