Peer Review after Poliner -- Absolute Immunity?

On July 23, 2008, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals reversed the landmark decision of Poliner vs. Presbyterian Hospital, and effectively created absolute immunity for medical peer reviewers. The United States Supreme Court refused to hear the case.
